Developer view of plan quotas and how we meter usage. For commercial plans, see the site-level Pricing.

Included units by plan

Included units and limits are plan-configured and may change. For the latest quotas, see Pricing or your contract. If you need programmatic limits, use the usage endpoint and plan metadata in billing.

Tip: Avoid hard-coding plan caps in integrations. Pull limits from your billing system or link to Pricing to prevent drift.

How we count usage

Screen unit: one name screened once. Re-screens count as screens on SMB plans.
ACM (directory): bulk re-screens are metered as ACM on High-Volume contracts.
Policy-only queries (no names) are free of screen units.

Overage

Fair, per-unit overage after included quota is used. Overages settle monthly.

Rate limits

Per-tenant RPS limits depend on plan (burst-friendly).
On 429 or 503, retry with exponential backoff; use Idempotency-Key.

Usage endpoint

For programmatic metering, call GET /api/v1/usage/summary (requires server-only secret).
